well the house is alreayd over 50gb this month. damn, that went quickly. We are currently at *drumroll here* badaing!
"Your Modem Usage = 98,302 MB". So 100gb basically. Our limit we pay for is 50gb. They turned us off at 112gb for Feb. I stopped when it was at 70gb and even resisted some sweet star trek episodes (season 7 is what im on now). So no more downloads till the end of the month. That makes me sad but I'll lose my phone if I don't get the problem stopped.
Can't lose the phone. That's kinda needed. Damn Voice Over Internet saving me money but using a router IP instead of the wall jack.
Least it's better quality lines for the shaw cable net into the modem into the voip box. all that is WAAAAAAAAYYY better then the old phone lines that Telus/Bell put up like 20 years ago. Precious cable tv cable....
The ISP's will become powerful. Too bad they are mostly evil. not many nice ones out there. They'll be happy crushing the hollywood untill someone invents p2p internet w/o the isp and they in turn get fucked. they are totally making coin from the p2p downloading of free stuff (oh ya, i know tons of info on getting free stuff btw people, feel free to ask me shit).
I wish I had more space for my stuff. Downside of being a pack rat. I've got so much junk around here that I totally love. I don't think people can be material enough really. almost everyone i know pays rent or lives under people who do. can't get around it so you gotta go through it.
but then i think of all those crappy looking homes i deliver to and think who'd want a huge house like that unless they had, also, the time to maintain it. anything you own you must maintain. tons of places have yucky lawns or garbage on the lot. another reason apartments are cool. (cept lack of parking spaces, anywhere you go it's shitty rules to say that you can't park anywhere and will towed if you visit after hours and shit)
